The Horticulture Collaborative Research Support Program (Horticulture CRSP) is a fund by Department of Plant Sciences, University of California, Davis USA and is funded by USAID.

This grant programme funds two channels – 1) US graduates in agriculture science to travel and stay for a period in the developing world, as well as, 2) the local project through the developing world organisation (such as local NGOs). The US graduate and the local organisation will be linked where the expertise of the US graduate will be used to provide horticulture information to local farmers through the local organisation and develop capacity building.

Previous Nepal project was: Economic Enhancement of the Ethnic Community of Kyamin Vdc in Tanahu, Nepal. Local Partner Organisation: Sustainable Agriculture Development Program Nepal (SADP). US Graduate: Allison Ferry, PhD candidate in Plant Pathology

The deadline for the application is 6 June 2012.
