Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science (IAAS) was established in 1957 as the name of School of Agriculture. The Institute has central campus in Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal and two branch campuses – Lamjung Campus at Sundar Bazar, Lamjung and Paklihawa Campus at Bhairahawa, Rupandehi.

Admission: A minimum of 50% aggregate marks in ISc is required for admission in Bachelors degree. A minimum of 2nd division or above is required for admission in Masters degree. The first semester class begins on Mangshir (BSc) and Baisakh (MSc).
Scholarships: IAAS provides several scholarships for Nepalese students. At present, in undergraduate level, 25% of the total students receive a monthly stipend. A further 20% receives free tuition fees scholarship.
In MSc Level, one full scholarship is provided in each department/ discipline.
IAAS students are also recipient of several foreign scholarships.
