SAARC (South Asian Association For Regional Cooperation) has announced invitation for applications from youth of the South Asian region to apply for the SAARC Youth Award – 2011.
This award scheme aims to give suitable recognition to talented young talents and encourage the overall development of the youth in the region.
Eligible age group: 20-35 years old
Theme: The theme of this 2011 award is “Youth Leadership in the fight against social ills”.
The award will be granted with a citation in English, a SAARC gold medal, US$ 3000 (three thousand US Dollars) in cash, and travel and living allowance for the award ceremony.
Deadline: 15 February 2012
