The Graduate School of Social and Political Science at University of Edinburgh, Scotland offers a specific course related to the development of South Asian region. The course is at postgraduate level – MSc in South Asia and International Development.

The University has a Centre for South Asian Studies which concentrates on Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and this Masters course focuses on political, economical and social development and challenges of South Asia. The career focus will be to have expetise in public sector, UN and NGOs.

The programme director for this course is a Nepalese lecturer – Dr Jeevan Sharma who finished his PhD from University of Edinburgh as well (BA from Kathmandu University).
