Scholarships Subject Areas: All subjects – but priority areas: Sustainable rural livelihoods, Basic education, Primary health, Governance, Trade and development, Conflict prevention and peace building, Development studies
Scholarships Target Countries/ Regions: Nepal, Africa, Cambodia, China, Cook Islands, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Kiribati, Lao, Latin America and the Caribbean, Micronesia Mongolia Myanmar, New Caledonia, Niue Papua New Guinea, Philippines Samoa Solomon Islands Thailand Timor Leste Tonga Tuvalu Vanuatu Viet Nam, Wallis and Futuna
Government of New Zealand is offering scholarships for Nepalese students (along with other eligible countries) to study postgraduate level studies in New Zealand. The name of this scholarship scheme is called New Zealand Development Scholarships and it is provided under New Zealand Aid Programme.
The above mentioned areas of studies are priority areas but other subjects can also be eligible for these scholarships.
To get these scholarships, the prospective student has to get admission in one of the 10 below mentioned universities and institutes in New Zealand. Some of their deadlines are also provided:
