Ministry of Education, Government of Nepal, Kesharmahal has at long last published the notice announcing its scholarship notice (entrance exam notice) for Nepalese students to study various medical and other science subjects. These scholarship programs are annual and these entrance exams are conducted for selection of appropriate applicants who are then provided with full, partial or self-paid scholarships quotas by Government of Nepal to study in various reputed institutes around Nepal and also in foreign countries.

Ministry Of Education, GONThe entrance exam will then result in a merit list on basis of which the selected students will get enrolled in the institutes under Tribhuvan University’s November, 2014 session and Kathmandu University’s August, 2015 session.

The courses for which the scholarships have been announced are:

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)

Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT)
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS)
Bachelor of Science in Forestry (BSc Forestry)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing)
Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharma)
Bachelor in Public Health (BPH)
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS)

A General Criteria of securing a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 (Biology) or its equivalent with marks not being less than 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The details about the eligibility criteria and quota division are available in the link below.

The online application forms will be available from 5th Kartik, 2071 (22nd October, 2014) and will have to be submitted along with all the necessary documents by 19th Kartik, 2071 (5th November, 2014). To complete the application, the students will have to deposit an amount of Rs. 1000 in the Thamel Branch of Rastriya Banijya Bank or in the Scholarship Division in MOE at Kesharmahal.

The entrance exams will be conducted on 6th Mansir, 2071 (22nd November, 2014) at 1 pm. The entrance exams will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
