The Open Society Foundation and Durham University announces jointly funded scholarships this year for Nepalese citizens. They have invited applications for scholarships and the courses are to be taught at Durham University for the academic year 2012-2013.

The Masters courses that are eligible for funding at Durham University is as follows:

MSc in Risk and Environmental Hazards
MA in Risk and Security
MA in Risk, Health and Public Policy

Applicants must be citizens or residents of Nepal. (or Afghanistan, Indonesia, Palestine)

The scholarship applicants must have an outstanding academic record and good English language qualification – atleast 6.5 in IELTS.

Completed forms can be mailed to or submitted at the Alliance for Social Dialogue office before the deadline – 14 February 2012.
