Scholarships Provided by: Embassy of Japan, Kathmandu, Nepal (Japanese Government)
Scholarships Subject Areas: Natural Sciences (Pure Science, Engineering, Agriculture, Fisheries, Pharmacology, Medicine, Dentistry, Home Economics, etc) Humanities and Social Sciences (Literature, History, Aesthetics, Laws, Politics, Economics, Commerce, Pedagogy, Psychology, Sociology, Music, Fine Arts, etc)
Scholarship Target Country: Nepal
Through the Embassy of Japan in Kathmandu, Nepal, the Government of Japan provides grants/ scholarships for Nepalese students who would like to study postgraduates courses (Masters and Doctoral (PhD) in Japan.
These scholarships will be provided under Monbukagakusho Scholarship Program 2013.
The applicants must be less than 35 years old as of 01.04.2013
They must have a Bachelors degree (undergraduate level), either 3 years or 4 years degree. The marks must be 70%+ aggregate for Science background and 60%+ aggregate for Humanities background.
What will be covered by the scholarship: Japanese Government Scholarships for 2 years from April 2013 till March 2015. This period is flexible to be extended.
Knowledge of Language: The suitable candidates should be interested to learn Japanese Language.
Application Period: The application package must be submitted to Japanese Embassy in Kathmandu by the applicant him/her self between 9:00 AM till 12:30 PM – on these days, 30 April 2012 (Monday) till 04 May 2012 (Friday).

is college recommendation compulsory? i studied in india for my bachelor’s degree and its not possible to get the recommendation in such a short time. is there a way out.
since in aggregate of SLC, +2 and Bachelor i did not score 70% but i am very keen to learn japanese language and want to do Master in Architecture. In that case do i get chance for this scholorship????
i need to study further my future but because of economically my family is weak but in academically i am sure that i can do better than slc. In my slc i score 84.5% from government school…i am fully hopefully that this website will help me for my study by some donation
