Bachelor of Public Health (BPH) is an undergraduate degree which prepares to work in several sectors such as public health, environmental health etc. It is also often called Bachelor of Science in Public Health in foreign countries, however, in Nepal it is called Bachelor of Public Health.
There are several colleges that offer BPH course in Nepal at the moment. The course is four years in all affiliated universities. Purbanchal University used to be three years, which has changed from this academic year.
Currently, Tribhuvan University, Purbanchal University and Pokhara University offers BPH course in Nepal.

The BPH programme of Purbanchal University has been 4 Years (8 Semesters) since this academic calender.
Karnali College now has been run by New Management Committee comprised of Highly Academicians and Professionals where Prof. Dr. Ritu Prasad Gartoulla is Executive Chairman. Prof. Gartoulla is the only one person and pioneer who have started BPH, BN, B. Pharmacy, B.Sc. Nursing from Purbanchal University since 2000 AD.in a Private outlet. Before his effort these courses were run only by Institute of Medicine, TU.
