Full Scholarships announcement has been made by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), Switzerland and asked for applications from eligible applicants to apply for scholarships related to climate change and related areas.

This scholarship is opened for citizens of developing countries, however, citizens of least developed countries are given priority.

In 2011, a Nepalese scholar was provided one of the scholarship – Sudeep Thakuri – Impacts of climate change on aquatic ecosystems, water availability, health and agriculture

This scholarship is for PhD studies and those who are accepted for Phd programmes or are currently enrolled in PhD programmes can get the scholarship. The value of scholarship is US Dollars 20,000 per year.

The deadline is 30 September 2012.
